EMBA&MBA HUB GALA DINNER 2026

Cookie Policy

This policy explains which cookies and similar technologies the EMBA&MBA HUB Gala Dinner 2026 website (gala.mbahub.pl) uses, why, and how you can manage your consent.

1. General information

The gala.mbahub.pl website is operated by Stowarzyszenie EMBA&MBA HUB, ul. Szewska 27/2, 31-009 Kraków, Poland, KRS 0001240402, e-mail: kontakt@mbahub.pl.

Cookies are small text files stored on your device by your browser. The browser’s local storage (localStorage) works in a similar way. This Policy covers both technologies.

How we process personal data is described in our Privacy Policy.

2. How the website uses cookies — at a glance

  • The website does not set any first-party cookies until you consent to analytics.
  • Your choice in the banner is remembered in the browser’s local storage — otherwise the banner would appear on every visit.
  • The analytics tool (Google Analytics 4) runs only after you click “Accept”. If you choose “Essential only”, it is not loaded.
  • We do not use advertising or marketing cookies and do not profile users for advertising. Google’s advertising features are permanently disabled (Consent Mode: ad_storage, ad_user_data, ad_personalization — denied).
  • The “Venue” section contains an embedded Google map, which may set Google’s own cookies.

Their list and retention periods are determined by Google: policies.google.com/technologies/cookies.According to Google’s rules (usually from several months to a year)

4. Essential cookies

The mbahub-gala-consent local storage entry is essential to remember your cookie decision. It holds a single value (accept or reject) and no identifying data. It is stored without separate consent because it is necessary to provide the service you requested (remembering your choice).

5. Analytics cookies (Google Analytics 4)

With your consent, we may use Google Analytics 4 (provider: Google Ireland Limited, Gordon House, Barrow Street, Dublin 4, Ireland) to understand the number of visits, traffic sources and which sections and buttons (e.g. “Go to registration”) are used most. The data is used solely for statistics and to improve the website.

Configuration: IP address truncation, advertising signals and ad personalisation disabled. The legal basis is your consent (Article 6(1)(a) GDPR and the Polish Electronic Communications Law). You can withdraw your consent at any time.

6. Google Maps and other third-party services

Google Maps. The “Venue” section contains an embedded interactive directions map (a frame from google.com), loaded when you scroll close to it. Google may then read or set its own cookies and receives your IP address and technical browser data. Google is responsible for this as a separate controller — see the Google Privacy Policy and how Google uses cookies.

Google Fonts. The website’s typeface is loaded from Google servers (fonts.googleapis.com, fonts.gstatic.com). The service does not set cookies, but your browser sends Google the IP address needed to download the font file.

Web server. The server does not set cookies. Like any web server, it records the IP address, date and URL of the request and the browser type in technical logs to ensure security and diagnose errors.

7. Managing consent

On your first visit we display a banner with two equal options: “Accept” (consent to analytics) and “Essential only”.

You can change your decision at any time by clicking “Manage cookie settings” in the website footer. After switching to “Essential only”, Google Analytics is not loaded on subsequent page loads; any _ga cookies stored earlier can be deleted in your browser settings.

8. Browser settings

Most browsers accept cookies by default. In your browser settings (Chrome, Firefox, Safari, Edge and others) you can block cookies — all of them or only third-party ones — and delete cookies and site data, including the stored mbahub-gala-consent choice. Once it is deleted, the banner will appear again.

Blocking third-party cookies may limit the embedded Google map; all other features of the website work as usual.

9. Transfers outside the EEA

Google may also process data outside the European Economic Area, including in the USA. Google LLC participates in the EU-U.S. Data Privacy Framework, and transfers take place with the safeguards required by the GDPR.

10. Changes to this Cookie Policy

This Cookie Policy will be updated whenever the tools used on the website change (e.g. when a registration system or newsletter is introduced). The current version is always available at this address.
